SF is a not-for-profit, 501c3 organization, run solely by our ensembled artists under the Los Angeles 99-Seat Plan. Our company is an almost all-volunteer democratic society run on “sweat equity,” meaning company members staff each function at the theater.

Our ongoing commitment is to develop new plays and produce existing work that challenges the traditional expectations of the theatrical experience. Sacred Fools’ productions are always reviewed by major L.A. publications and are among the city’s most consistently recognized and rewarded.

Membership is open, and students can (and are encouraged to) become theater members, which often lead to performing opportunities, writing and design opportunities, etc.
