SUMMARY: In the Mexican town of Erongaricuaro,
Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Andre Breton and Leon Trotsky discuss
the sociopolitical ramifications of a working man and his
donkey, while Frida paints, and she and Diego argue
passionately. However, the working man turns out to be a Soviet
assassin, and Breton shoots him before he can kill Trotsky. With
the man's body slumped near Frida's easel, Trotsky and Breton
continue their discussion while Diego and Frida make passionate
love. |
