EPISODE ONE (11/19/16)

SUMMARY: At the Dos Lagos condominium, humble immigrant Claudio begs Richard, the cruel head of the building's H.O.A., to deal with the noise from their next door neighbor, which is keeping him and his daughter, Alexandra, up every night and affecting her schoolwork. Richard - who only won his position because not enough people voted - refuses, then merely offers better parking spaces - which a cowed Claudio accepts. But it turns out that Claudio is a renter in a low-income unit, and Richard is paying the neighbor to make noise in order to drive them out. Richard next gets a visit from Jesse, who is angry her cable package came with Starz and not HBO as Richard promised. Richard tells her the deal has been altered, and to get HBO, she must seduce somebody known as The Judge; she refuses, but capitulates when Richard threatens to have her 19-year-old sister do it instead. Meanwhile, when Alexandra learns of Claudio's capitulation on the noise issue, she's frustrated... and Claudio is shocked to learn that Alexandra is a member of the resistance.

EPISODE TWO (12/21/17)

SUMMARY: Alexandra has learned the secret about her mother that Claudio tried to keep from her – she was a radical and activist. And Alexandra wants to follow in her footsteps, much to Claudio's consternation. Handyman Horace – Richard's muscle – appears at their apartment to "fix" a hitherto-unknown leak... which he then creates with a hammer. A mysterious woman subsequently stops by to warn Alexandra that Richard has given himself special war powers, and tells her to attend the H.O.A. board meeting; however, she arrives a moment too late, and is shut out. Richard also banishes former board member Lydia from the meeting – the only person who had tried to stop Richard's war powers from being enacted. And then Richard reveals his grand plan: to demolish the condominiums for a new building – one that will have no low-income renters.
