Summary: A couple, Annie and James, are having an argument on a flight from Los Angeles to Denver. Karen, sitting across the aisle, interposes, attempting to help; she says repeatedly that she's an empath, but the narrator informs us that she's not - she's just wearing a sweater. Gregg, who is reading a book, says he can't go back to his book until he hears the joke Annie says she told that James didn't laugh at. James loses his temper and asks everyone to mind their own business... but after arguing futilely with Annie for a while, James gives in and turns to Karen to intervene.

Summary: Everybody gets involved with Annie and James' tiff, and Gregg goes off for a while on his own greatest relationship regret. James is peeved that Annie had implied that this trip - to the wedding of a friend of James' - is an obligation for her; he is counseled in various ways to get over it. Suddenly, the plane hits some extreme turbulence and everyone is thrown from their seats...

Summary: After the turbulence, Karen tells the story of how she met her husband. James insists he really does want to be on this trip, but it seems clear he doesn't want to be going any more than Annie does. Sleeping Kevin nearly wakes up, but doesn't. Someone observes that they haven't seen a flight attendant the entire flight. And then, suddenly, James pulls out a ring and gets down on one knee in front of Annie...
