SUMMARY:  1917.  Horace, a judge, is angered when he comes home and finds that dinner is not waiting for him, because his wife, Gertrude, has been busy consoling her friend Millicent.  But Horace is in for the fight of his life when Millicent's sister Emmaline arrives - a suffragette who knows herself to be the equal of any man.
